A Day of Infamy

12 10 2006

On October 12, 2006, an entire section of high school juniors was massacred by their 2nd Quarter examinations, with only 1 out of a class of 30 attaining a passing score.

The lone survivor, Min Ji Lee, an exchange student from Korea, is as of presstime, blissfully unaware of the fate she so narrowly avoided.

Their Algebra teacher said he was “stunned beyond belief”, mentioning that he had never seen such a thing happen before, not even in his worst classes back in elementary.

Hmmm. I sense the Algebra teacher will use Magic and Medicine for their grades.

Goodness gracious… what happens now?

No…no Magic & Medicine here. I’ve done that before, and it really is the easy way out. But I want these kids to learn. I take no pleasure in flunking them, so I’ll try to give them a chance to make-up for this. But they will learn…whatever the cost to them…whatever the cost to me.

To the bitter end…
