I am G.T.I. – teacher, musician, computer scientist, self-confessed polymath (i.e. nerd).
I currently teach music at an international school in the Philippines where I specialise in stringed instruments, orchestral music and confounding students with my extensive knowledge of the mundane.
I am a Christian; that is, I believe that the only way for Man to know God is through Jesus Christ. I am unashamed of my faith – only embarassed for the many times (both past and present) when I failed to live according to what I believe.
That said, I like to think of myself as a genuine human being, with strengths and weaknesses; prone to wander but always longing for truth and freedom. I established this web journal that I may regale you with my self-effacating prose, acerbic wit, and my unusual perspective on life. If you have always wanted to know what it is like to conduct an orchestra, play a cello, solve math problems for fun, watch a lame rock concert, perform in a lame rock concert, discuss philosophy with an atheist, contemplate a globe fish, or gaze up at a star-filled sky and realize that there is a God…maybe I can help you.
Welcome.

sine mixtura dementiae”
It’s my first time here kuya, and I’m having a good time. I like this very much, too: I am unashamed of my faith – only embarassed for the many times (both past and present) when I failed to live according to what I believe.
When they said that brevity was the key to good communication, I did not realize brevity could be so eloquent.
Semper fidelis.
